La Charmille differs in style and layout to La Chataigne, but is the same size as its neighbour. Again the ground floor is open plan featuring a beamed inglenook fireplace and chestnut floor. French windows lead onto a rear terrace.

The first floor “ grenier” has been converted to provide delightful accommodation that retains plenty of character.

Ground floor: Kitchen/dining area with limed birch fitted units, gas cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, double sink, dining table and chairs.

Downstairs cloakroom with WC and wash basin. Carpeted living area with antique enamelled log burner, cherry wood dresser, two sofas, TV and video.

La Chenaie Sleeps up to 4 in 2 bedrooms.

La Chenaie is a charming stone cottage with a steep-sloping roof situated some 40 metres from the main house.

Bedecked with flowers and shaded by oak and hazelnut trees this cosy cottage affords guests perhaps a little more privacy together with stunning views of the valley.

Ground floor: beamed kitchen/dining room with log burner, gas cooker, fridge, sink, microwave, cupboards, table and chairs.

Steps to: conservatory living room with sofa and armchairs. Upstairs: double bedroom, bunk bedroom, fully fitted bathroom. All rooms have sloping pine ceilings.

Outside: Leafy front terrace for those meals with a view. Table, chairs, BBQ.
